A hands-on introduction to the beautiful and relaxing art of linocut printmaking. Participants will learn how to design, carve, and print their own lino block, creating unique prints on paper and fabric.
Inclusions: we provide the lino, carving tools, working trays, tote bags, fabric, paper, fabric ink, bench hooks and printmaking tools.


Yani is a Visual Arts teacher with a Masters in Education (Secondary), a Bachelor in Visual Arts and a Bachelor in Contemporary Art (Fashion & Textiles). She has taught across a wide range of learning areas, including woodwork, fashion and textiles, food technology, and visual arts. Skilled across multiple disciplines, Yani has a particular passion for sewing, textiles, and printmaking. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys upcycling vintage blankets and fabrics into coats and other unique garments. Yani finds joy in helping others discover and nurture their creative potential.

Orla is a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) student at Edith Cowan University, majoring in Visual Arts with a minor in Dance. She will graduate in 2026 and hopes to one day teach overseas. Passionate about the arts, Orla enjoys connecting with students and witnessing their creative growth. Her preferred mediums are ceramics and sculpture, which align with her dance background as a kinaesthetic learner. She also explores black-and-white digital and film photography, with a focus on fashion and choreographed portraiture. As a facilitator, Orla is committed to nurturing both artistic skills and mental wellbeing through creative, hands-on outlets.
